Photo Diary: 25th Birthday Weekend in Bintan, Indonesia

Last June, I celebrated my 25th birthday! I am now 25. Oh my god, twenty-five years old. I AM OLD. 😱

Sorry for the short drama. Lol. Anyway, to celebrate, my family and I went to Bintan Island in Indonesia. We stayed at Angsana Bintan Resort for the entire weekend. A long weekend! Yay!

The beach and the hotel itself, is just 'decent', in my opinion, compared to the resorts we've been to in Bintan before. In addition, everything is really pricey, especially the food! But I need to commend both their service and their staff as they were very hospitable and accommodating. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay.

Below are the pictures from our trip. I'll let the pictures do the "talking"! Haha!

My sisters, Kevin, and I had a small pictorial by the beach. The resort has this boardwalk perfect for talking pictures! Don't you think our photos turned out good? Hehe. This was also a perfect chance to test out my new camera and my new lens!

By the way, if you are wondering where my parents are, they have their own agenda for the day. Haha!

The next morning, which is my birthday, the resort has delivered a cake to our room. My dad told me when we checked in, the receptionist has noticed my birthday on my passport, and they have offered to give a complimentary cake. Thank you, Angsana!

In the afternoon, we decided to go for a snorkelling. The activity lasted for 3 hours, and it costed us SG$50 per person. It's kinda expensive, but they have provided all the equipment needed: snorkelling masks, snorkels, and fins. They even provided water bottles in case we get thirsty, which we did LOL. It was a nice experience, but it was exhausting. Haha.

I was actually nervous the moment we hopped on the boat because I was worried for my sisters. Good thing I have done this before, so I kinda know what to expect already. Anyway, I kept on asking them if they were okay or not the whole time we were in the sea. Good to hear, though, that they enjoyed the experience. Although for my sister, Kate, and Kevin, they got dizzy after the first stint. But all went well in general.

On our last day, we woke up early to catch the sunrise, and had our last chance to swim on the beach. Waking up early was so worth it because we were able to have the beach to ourselves.

Afterwards, we headed to the pool. We were the first ones to dip in! Hehe.

And that's how I celebrated my 25th birthday with my family. Thank you for the love, and thank you to my dad for making this short trip happen. ðŸ˜Š

By the way, my youngest sister, Jazz, created a short video montage of this trip! Please watch!
